In some kits you will find carbamide peroxide which should not exceed the upper limit of 30 percent in the final product.
In fact carbamide peroxide also reduces to hydrogen peroxide which is the standard bleaching agent. Its percentage should not exceed the 10 percent limit. When you detect any cosmetic dentistry whitening kit with more than above mentioned quantities of bleaching agent, it will cause sensitivity of teeth. Dental merchandise with severe bleaching agents is meant for dentists not for home use. Also you should not wear the mouth tray for longer than recommended period.
